Effects with cling film...

I have created these very simple backgrounds with cling film. Although this is an old technique I really love it and come back to it time and time again as I love the drama you can achieve with this technique.

I have sprayed Lindy's Starburst sprays and Glimmermists onto the cling film and layed sheets of ordinary cardstock on top.

I love these cool tones...

By spraying at least 3 colours onto the cling film I got a multi tonal effect...

I then used warm tones for this art journal background...

And I had enough left over to make a cover for my Ellen Hull Passport book.

These were so simple to make but I love the effect.

I shall be entering my cards into this week's Simon Says Monday challenge called "flower power". I'm off to rest now and hope to be back soon xx

  2. I hope you are feeling better after some rest:(
This is one of my favorite techniques, your white on black for the card is absolutely stunning and that book cover is out of this world:)

    Bises.

    Hi Eleanor,

Thank you for your message, I'm not good at English, so thank you Google Translate.
I have been a fan of your creations for years, even if we do not have the same style.
I come back to my questions:
I noticed that in your old blog your cards were designed with apparently two-color cardstock, sometimes blue or green inside the card, always a tone related to a paint color. Where do you find this two-color paper?
And most importantly can you give me the brand and the grammage (and maybe the shop) of your acetate?
I bought several, some are too thin and others do not hold ink stamps. In short! I throw more than I create.
    Thank you for your answers.
I did not find a contact address on your blog.
I hope the translation is correct.

    Hugs.
    MaryannG
